Shinerama is a great way to give back to your local community, gain valuable career-focused skills, and meet cool, new people at your school! We rely on the generous support of our volunteers, donors, and partners, who help us achieve our mission to end cystic fibrosis.

Please contact your school’s Shinerama campaign coordinator to find out what volunteer roles are available. To find your campaign coordinator’s contact information, click on "Find Your School". Once you locate your school in the drop-down list, click on your school’s name to be redirected to your school's online fundraising page. There you will find your campaign coordinator's contact information! You can also email shinerama@cysticfibrosis.ca and we will connect you with your school's campaign coordinator.

Cystic Fibrosis Canada advocates for access to critical medicines, funds innovative research and ensures the care and support that our entire community needs are available and accessible. We are going further to lengthen lifespans and improve lives. As part of the 60 year anniversary of Shinerama, this year we have a collective goal of $160,000 which will support emotional health and wellbeing through the development of an interactive online mental health hub for people living with CF and caregivers. This hub contains information on mental health supports, mental health educational resources and information on CF related peer support. 

During the registration process, you will be asked if you would like to create or join a team. Click on "Join existing team” from the drop-down list ," and then search for the team you are interested in joining by either searching by the team name or team captain's email.

Please double check spelling of the team name. Or try searching by the team captain’s email. It’s possible that your team captain has not created your team yet. In this case, you can register as an individual and join the team later once it has been created.

Absolutely! Your school can participate in any capacity and raise funds through any type of group. Please contact shinerama@cysticfibrosis.ca for more information.

You can see if your school is participating in a Shinerama Campaign this year by clicking “Find your school”. You can then reach out to your student union to see how you can get involved. If your school is not listed, please reach out to shinerama@cysticfibrosis.ca.

Of course! You can either make a general donation to Shinerama, or you can register as a virtual Shiner and fundraise online. If you are interested in starting a Shinerama campaign at your school, please contact shinerama@cysticfibrosis.ca

We are always looking to bring Shinerama to new Canadian universities and colleges. Contact shinerama@cysticfibrosis.ca to get started!

Think about what you love doing and how you can share that with others. Crafts, food, shows, classes or a parties are just some options! Once you register, we will share with you a fundraising guide with lots of ideas, hints and tips.

There are no registration fees, or minimum fundraisings to support Cystic Fibrosis Canada. We provide lots of useful tools and support to help you raise as much as possible.

Self-donations show that you are invested and committed to raising money for Cystic Fibrosis Canada and sets the bar for your donors to donate a similar amount. You are given the option to make a self-donation during the registration process. You can also make a self-donation at any time through your personal fundraising page.

Click on "DONATE" and then on "GENERAL DONATION". Follow the instructions on the donation page.

Click on "DONATE " and then search for the specific participant you would like to donate in the search bar.

All donors who make an online donation of $20.00 or more will automatically be sent a tax receipt to the email address provided during the donation process.
